Members of our chair gathered at TUM's historic Akademiezentrum Raitenhaslach for an intensive two-day workshop focused on advancing our EventSat 6U CubeSat project and computer vision research. The retreat took place in the beautifully restored building, which serves as TUM's dedicated academic conference center.
On the first day, we visited the blacksmith “Hammerschmiede Burghausen” for a unique team-building experience followed by a computer vision workshop where we tackled real-world challenges involving event cameras. The second day was dedicated to the EventSat project, with a deep dive into the status of each satellite subsystem, goal-setting, and strategy alignment.
The beautifully restored venue, which serves as TUM’s dedicated academic conference center, provided the perfect setting for intense collaboration and hands-on learning. By combining research-focused discussions, practical demonstrations, and interactive activities, everyone left Raitenhaslach with fresh insights, stronger knowledge about the project, and a clearer roadmap for the work ahead.
We look forward to applying the knowledge gained to further advance our EventSat project and continue pushing the boundaries of research at our chair.
