At TUM, our Systems Engineering Advanced Class continues its tradition of transforming theory into practice with a new stratospheric balloon launch. This hands-on project gives students the opportunity to treat the balloon like a “real” satellite mission, facing genuine engineering challenges that complement their academic studies.
Kudos to the team behind this impressive night launch! The excitement was palpable as the project unfolded.
How did you tailor your engineering approach for this project? What innovative techniques did you integrate? How did you ensure smooth coordination and risk management throughout the mission? These are just a few of the challenges our students tackle as they bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application.
