Beschreibung
The official title of this course is "Advanced GIS for Environmental Engineering" (without "Theory", since this course provides a mixture of both theory and practical projects).
Please ALL attend the first lecture on Oct 28 in room 2100 (main campus) at 9:45 o'clock, where we will provide a short introduction to the course as well as explain other organizational matters.
This course provides a general introduction to the usage and possibilities of geographical information systems (GIS) for Environmental Engineering. The major goal of this course is to provide an overview and potential of GIS in the context of semantic 3D city models. In addition to the theoretical part, some hands-on experience (e.g. mini-projects) shall be introduced during the course. These cover the spatio-semantic analyses and simulations on the basis of urban datasets.
