The study project “Prevention against Alpine Natural Hazards” finished successfully with a presentation of the results at “Die Wildbach” (Austria’s administration for the construction and maintenance of mountain torrent and avalanche barriers) in Reutte/Tyrol. Supervised by the Chairs of Geoinformatics, Geodesy and Land Management, students from the M.Sc. programs Geodesy and Geoinformation, Environmental Engineering and Environmental Planning and Engineering Ecology joint forces to measure, model and simulate land slides and debris flows in the Hornbergl area, Reutte/Tyrol.
