On March 3, at 17:00 EST, Prof. Golkar delivered a seminar at MIT’s AeroAstro department, entitled “Towards Cognitive AI Agents for Spacecraft Design Integrating Large Language Models with Engineering Knowledge”, diving deep into our research on the application of generative AI for spacecraft design and giving an overview of our different research activities and projects.
On March 6, at 11:00 EST, Mr. García Alarcia delivered a presentation at the Complex Adaptive Systems Conference (CAS 2025), at MIT’s Wong Auditorium, entitled “Generative AI for the Design of Complex Systems: Roadmap and Space Mission Case Study”. This presentation followed the acceptance of a peer-reviewed full paper to the conference, that will be published soon, and covered part of Mr. García Alarcia’s PhD thesis work.
These presentations have spurred meaningful discussions and exchanges with MIT’s aerospace engineering and systems engineering communities, as well as with attendees coming to the CAS 2025 conference from many varied institutions worldwide.
