We are excited to welcome Minghui Chang, a third-year PhD student from the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UST), who joins the TUM professorship of Remote Sensing Applications as a exchange student.
Minghui specializes in collaborative multi-source time-series data fusion and spatio-temporal segmentation, focusing on combining data from optical and radar imagers along with land use/land cover maps to achieve a comprehensive understanding of cropland dynamics. In her ongoing research, Minghui has completed the extraction of cropland using collaborative progressive multi-feature fusion and a differential perceptual attention mechanism under optical time-series imagery.
Minghui's expertise in computer vision for Earth observation will be a valuable contribution to our group. We are excited to share the journey with Minghui as she explores the integration of deep learning and computer vision techniques for multi-temporal data fusion and segmentation.
Welcome to the team, Minghui!
