In July, Katharina Anders held a talk at the Geodetic Summer Colloquium 2024 introducing her professorship at TUM. Focusing on developing and applying automated methods for analyzing remote sensing data to provide new scientific insights into Earth surface processes, the Summer Colloquium was the perfect place for exchange.
Organized by DVW e.V. – Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation, and Land Management Bavaria and the TUMDepartment of Aerospace and Geodesy, the event was an excellent opportunity to come together within the geodetic community and broader public. The colloquium featured four presentations by Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Bauer, Prof. Dr. Katharina Anders, Dipl.-Ing. Markus Mohl, and Prof. Dr. Niklas Boers, covering current topics such as digitization, surveying, LiDAR, Earth observation, digital twins, Munich Digital, climate change, and Earth system tipping points.
We are proud to be part of this vibrant community and look forward to the next event in 2025!
