On 22nd June, we launched our UAVs for photogrammetric acquisition for the first time in the new lab course on Photogrammetric Data Acquisition. Blessed with clear skies and calm winds, not only were the conditions and our drones ready, but we were ready to fly as well! The DJI Phantom 4 Series drones performed flawlessly, enabling us to successfully complete all preplanned missions. This session was particularly special because it provided our students with hands-on experience. Newly equipped with their operating licenses, they had the opportunity to pilot the UAV, seamlessly blending theory with practical skills in a real-world setting.
