At the Institute of Turbomachinery and Flight Propulsion we offer a well-founded and practice-oriented education in the fields of aerodynamics, fluid mechanics and measurement technology in turbomachinery and flight propulsion. Our students have the opportunity to attend a variety of lectures that provide in-depth theoretical knowledge in these areas.
We offer courses for both Bachelor's and Master's students that build on each other to ensure continuous in-depth technical knowledge over the course of their studies. In the Master's program in particular, the basic lectures from the Bachelor's program are deepened so that students can develop the necessary expertise for complex and current topics. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical experience can also be gained in the form of internships, student research projects and dissertations.
We also offer a wide range of opportunities to get involved in research projects at the institute. Students have the chance to work with our scientists on innovative research questions and gain valuable practical experience in the process. This also includes open student assistant positions in which students can actively contribute to research.
Our aim is to provide students not only with in-depth knowledge, but also with practical skills that prepare them for a successful career in research and industry.
