Electric Fan
As part of our Hummingbird Hybrid project, we are developing an electrically powered fan. We are currently in the test phase of the first version.
The fan was designed aerodynamically as part of a student research project and then constructed in club work. The impeller, guide wheel and housing were made of aluminium. The spinner and an outlet cone were additively manufactured ("3D printed") from plastic.
