The exhibit features a series of breathtaking satellite photographs where Engel showcases the beauty and complexity of Earth’s landscapes. Each image offers a unique perspective of places around the world and highlights the power of remote sensing technology - a key focus of Engel’s current research.
This exhibit is a personal project by Engel that has been supported by Coburg Natural History Museum. A native of Coburg, Engel not only celebrates his artistic side in the field of Earth observation but also unconsciously raises awareness about the importance of monitoring our planet.
“Remote Sensations - What Satellites See” will be open to the public until January 19, 2025. More information here.
