Dear students,

due to the current situation, it is unclear whether we will be able to offer our planned courses in the coming summer semester 2020 in the usual lecture hall attendance form. At present, we expect that we will definitely have to switch to digital formats at the beginning of the semester.

Lectures and the corresponding exercises will be prepared by us so that you can follow them online. We will provide weekly links to the videos of our lectures and exercises, set up a discussion forum in Moodle and offer an online consultation via video conference. As far as the practical courses are concerned, it is in the nature of things that in most cases this requires infrastructure at the chair. This is of course linked to the need to be present at the chair. In the hope that the situation will soon ease, we are currently verifying and clarifying whether theoretical parts can be brought forward. We will then also offer these online. The concrete practical parts have to happen afterwards, possibly in block format at the end of the semester.

We are dependent on the general situation and the measures of the university. We do our best. We will continue to provide important information via the homepage or via Moodle (for the individual lectures). We ask for your understanding.
