The topic field Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) at the Chair of Carbon Composites has been working on thermoset and thermoplastic AFP for many years. Experimental and numerical methods are used to investigate the influence of process parameters on the processability of semi-finished products and on the component quality. The LCC operates two AFP machines from Coriolis and AFPT.
