Course Contents
The focus of the module is on imparting skills for the analysis of GIS-based processes from application domains such as energy supply, environmental monitoring, agriculture, urban and infrastructure planning, and the production of spatial base data (e.g., 3D city models, geotopography). Lectures and coaching by professionals from the industry, as well as work in small groups, are used as teaching and learning methods. Each student is expected to independently familiarize themselves with one of the GIS-based processes presented by an external expert. The results of the process analysis will be presented by the student in an oral presentation and a written report.
