Training simulators are used in various areas of application such as in simulating crisis scenarios (e.g. evacuations) or the impact of failures on the population (e.g. failure of water works). In this project, the use of suitable data models and data formats for simulating such scenarios in training simulators was analysed. The focus was on simulations in urban areas taking into account supply infrastructures, the CityGML extension Utility Network ADE having proved particularly suitable for this purpose, which was as part of the project applied and extended.
