The organisations Runder Tisch GIS e.V. and DVW – Gesellschaft für Geodäsie, Geoinformation und Landmanagement e.V. have published the guidlines "Geodesy and BIM" at INTERGEO 2017 which were created in cooperation with the TUM Chair of Geoinformatics.
The guidelines are intended to be a manual and reference book for Building Information Modeling (BIM) with a special focus on the relation between BIM and Geodesy and Geoinformatics.
On 180 pages more than 50 authors from companies, public administration and scientific institutions present their knowledge. Thus, Geodesists, GIS experts and Geoinformation Scientists get access to compact information on a topic which will have a huge impact on the construction industry in the years ahead.
