The Chair of Geoinformatics will be participating in the upcoming event OGC CityGML Hackathon in London on 11-12 June, 2019. The Hackathon will build upon the outcomes of the OGC's CityGML Standard Working Group as well as provide Hackathon participants with detailed insights into the Working Group’s plans for the future of CityGML. In this hackathon, participants will experiment with and validate the current draft conceptual model for the upcoming version 3.0 of CityGML.
The Chair of Geoinformatics provides a transformation tool citygml2-to-citygml3 to convert existing CityGML 2.0 to CityGML 3.0 data sets. Some sample CityGML 3.0 data sets are also available.
In addition, an FME workspace for converting IFC data sets to CityGML 3.0 data sets is also available. The FME workspace nicely demonstrates the use of the generic GML Writer to produce CityGML files.
