On 13-14 October 2016, the Chair of Geoinformatics at TUM hosted the 1st joint SIG 3D and OGC workshop on the development of a CityGML ADE for utility networks (UtilityNetworkADE) which allows for integrating CityGML based building models with the urban supply and disposal infrastructure.
The workshop was attended by participants from 13 research institutions of 6 different countries and marked the successful starting point to a series of follow-up workshops. For further information on the workshop please visit: http://en.wiki.utilitynetworks.sig3d.org/index.php/Workshop_Munich_2016.
The next workshop will be hosted by EIFER on 19-20 January 2017. This workshop series is open to further interested persons. If you are a CityGML user, data producer, software vendor or a scientist working on or using utility networks based on CityGML, you are welcome to participate in the workshop. Details of the next workshop will be published on the UtilityNetworkADE wiki soon: http://en.wiki.utilitynetworks.sig3d.org/
