Research interests
I have studied climate changes in the past and present: especially, the 10-to-100-kiloyear-scale glacial-interglacial cycles, millennial-scale abrupt climate changes (Dansgaard-Oeschger events), and Monsoon phenomena. I have tackled with these still-unsolved problems by using dynamical systems theory, Earth System Models of Intermediate Complexity as well as machine learning methods.
