Werdegang (Career)
The research interests of Dr.-Ing. Lee includes land administration, land tenure, land governance, cadastre, and geospatial information advancing both land management sciences and practices. He possesses the skills for socio-technical assessment and institutional analysis and sensitivity of acquiring socio-spatial data. He is dedicated to developing ‘geospatially informed analysis (GIA)’ using both socioeconomic and geospatial data in line with artificial intelligence (AI) application.
Dr.-Ing. Lee has an academic background in both land management and urban and regional planning. He acquired degrees from the Cheongju University in Korea (BA in 2011 and MPA in 2013) and the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom (MSc in 2014) and completed his PhD at the Technical University of Munich in Germany in 2021. He is the coordinator of the MOOC “Introduction to Land Management” and contributes to teaching and researching in the land management chair.
