Prof. de Vries presents at the National Seminar of the Indonesian Spatial Planning Schools Association (ASPI) – 7 December 2020

On 7 December 2020 Prof. de Vries gave a key note presentation at the National Seminar of the Indonesian Spatial Planning Schools Association (ASPI), organised by the ASPI secretariat and the Syiah Kuala University of Banda Aceh.

The entire seminar was held virtually and was recorded and distributed via zoom and via a live youtube stream:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ockvnpmE3QY

The seminar dealt with inclusive spatial planning in the time of COVID. The topic of the presentation of Prof. de Vries was ‘The right to the city and spatial justice in land use planning’. Other key note speakers were the Governor of Aceh, the Indonesian Minster of Spatial Planning and Lands and the speaker from the ASPI. The link to ASPI has been established through Dr. Iwan Rudiarto from UNDIP, one of the Land Management and Land Tenure alumni.
