The workshop started with the introduction by the Chair of Land Management, Prof. Dr. Walter de Vries followed by presentation on the ongoing research projects at the Chair. Prof. and Dean Faculty of Planning, Dr. Mona Iyer gave an introduction to the various programs at CEPT University. The students were taken on site to neighborhoods involved in sustainable urban development projects and the onsite developments of the Isar River Renaturation plan. The workshop is step towards exchange of ideas and plans to improve urban environment and to deal with water sensitive issues faced by cities. The workshop concluded with gainful insights from the two institutes on various aspects of water sensitive urban planning and prospective future collaborations between the two universities.
