The overall aim of his inquiry for PhD dissertation was to investigate the emerging role and significance of land tenure and land governance in the context of Korean unification by both reviewing empirical evidence and identifying the contextualized factors, relationship and priorities through the development of various methods, tools and techniques based on the responsible and Smart land management (RSLM) framework. Dr.-Ing Cheonjae Lee developed a set of analytical tools and techniques for rationalizing the significance and impact of land tenure re-formalization and land governance re-arrangement that include CIMOC framework, tools of land governance and geospatially informed analysis.
Prof. Dr. Stephan Freudenstein, who enabled a welcoming and supportive environment, chaired the session. Following the presentation of the research results, an earnest discussion with Prof. Dr. Walter T. de Vries and Prof. Dr. Peter Ekbäck took place.

Dr.-Ing. Cheonjae Lee will continue to work with us at the Chair of Land Management of the Technical University of Munich, through his involvement in the recently granted 3VRUT project, in collaboration with partners from Japan, Spain and Poland.
