News:

Dr. Shailesh Yadav completes research stay at Chair of Land Management

Dr. Shailesh Yadav, Assistant Professor of Geography at Seth RL Saharia Government PG College, Rajasthan, India successfully completed the Foreign Training Programme (FTP) under the Teachers Interface for Excellence (TIE) scheme at the Chair of Land Management, Technical University of Munich, Germany on 17 June 2024.

During the training period from 21.12.2023 to 17.06.2024, he was engaged in various research and academic activities, including:

  • The publications and research colloquia in Land Management.
  • Presented a concept paper in Land management research colloquium session on “Empowering Women through Land Rights: A Case Study of Access, control, and Decision-making in Rural Rajasthan”.
  • Participated in the 18th Annual International Planning, Law, and Property Rights (PLPR2024) Conference.
  • Conducted a guest lecture in Land Management International – Theory and Practice, covering the Indian perspective on land policy, sustainable development, and land use planning.

Further collaboration will focus on preparing and ultimately publishing joint peer-reviewed publications and staff and student exchange.
